Cold cleaning for notice-boards as membership leaflets go on display

NOTICEBOARDS at the park’s two entrances have been cleaned and new leaflet boxes installed there and at the Aviary, encouraging visitors to join the Friends.
Wendy Price, the Committee member responsible, said the cleaning was “hard, cold work, willingly done with a mixture of white spirit, Astonish cleaner and water from the teapot but mainly, elbow grease.”
