New name, new scale for Open Air Festival
Summer 2007
WIMBLEDON Cannizaro Park Festival - renamed for 2007 - ran from 14-29 July, targeting record size audiences of over 1000 in the Italian Garden, mainly in covered seating.
Performers included singer Aled Jones; jazz legend Humphrey Lyttelton; comedians Jo Brand, Jimmy Carr, and Jongleurs Comedy; Reduced Shakespeare Company with “Romeo and Juliet”; and Garden Opera performing “La Boheme”.
Ambassador Theatre Group handled sales. Covered seat tickets started at £18 and grass seating £12. The box office was open at 0870 060 2512 with online details at www.cannizaroparkfestival.co.uk
