Action on trees over the winter
Urgent
tree work being carried this winter in the park includes the cutting back of two
pines, one at the rear of 40 Sycamore Road, the other beside a folly. Included
too is removal of a dead birch and a eucalyptus.
Action is being also being taken on horse chestnut trees and a scarlet oak beside the main lawn. The sycamore beside the Millennium Fountain is being pruned, as are an oak at the rear of 10 Dunstall Road, a wingnut, four horse chestnuts by the allotments and an ash by the hotel.
